I've been still shopping for an x5, and have come along many I wanted to purchase, but the wood trim is that light wood color on all the vehicle that I was interested in, I really don't like that light wood trim, so how much and how hard would it be to replace that intereior wood trim?

The wood trim simply pry's off. The only piece that takes some time is the center console which has to come out. Not very difficult if you have a little technical ability. If not, get the dealer or a stereo shop to remove/replace just the one piece and do all the rest yourself!

I have a complete set of the dark poplar wood for sale if you're interested. It is in mint condition and includes the gear shift knob and sport steering wheel trim. The best price you'll get at any dealer is just over $1200 not including the extra 2 pieces. I'll give mine away for half that! I also have removal/replacement instructions to go with that.
