Hope this helps, and if you do go ahead and put it on, post a pic and let me know how it goes, I'm thinking about doing this, but it looks like a pain.

same here, i want to do it, but dont feel like getting into such a mess
well, I have the whole steering wheel for sale, with the myrtle trim if anyones interested.
I installed the titanium trim, if I had it to do over again I'd just ditch the whole wheel and install the M3 wheel...
why would you ditch the wheel?

was it too difficult or just disappointing?

b
It was a hassle to install the trim piece and now I wish I had the slightly smaller / thicker M wheel.

*sigh*

You live and learn :)

Call Hendricks Imports in NC. 1-800-476-0885. $138.00 with the BMWCCA discount (25%). They can order any BMW part regardless of where is from (German, UK, Canada).

I just got this insert in birchwood for my 2002 330i Orient Blue/Natural Brown. I have one in Myrtle but is chipped.

Good forum, this is my first posting.
