Hi I am looking for some advice. My x5 starts and drives but as it gets warmer it begins to start hesitating, gets worse with accelerating to the point where it cuts out completely I have to stop and restart which it dose as normal but go through the same scenario. All over again. I have been told to replace the crankshaft position sensor, which I have bought but can anyone tell me where it's located on the car ? Thanks

Hi this sounds similar to what I'm experiencing at the moment, is yours showing any faults? Mine alternates faults but just recently it showed 4450 injector, cylinder 5 activation and 4242 glow plug, cylinder 4 activation

Hi I have no fault codes showing
Your fault codes sound as though it's an injector fault which seems to be common type it in on search engine sites
