We noticed our X5 is a very wide car especially parked in our garage next to our other car. The difficulty is opening the rear door and not hitting our other sedan as they are parked side by side. Actually created a very small ding on our other sedan the other day by accident.....:thumbdwn:As the X5 is taller, we noticed the rear door sits high esp with the panel flaring out. Not sure if the M Sport Package flares out more than a non M sport.

We didn't seem to have this problem with our previous Lexus GX. It seems the GX is taller but the X5 is wider. Any one have a similar problem with their X5 parked side by side with another car in their garage.

UYes, In a two car garage the space is tight with an X5.
I got used to dropping passengers in the driveway before entering and do little circus to open driver door and not hit the adjutant car. My garage has built in cabinets also a reason for tight space.
Don't think M specs will make a difference.
