2001 X5 - has developed a pinhole leak in the top of the coolant reservoir near the cap. Looks like something I can replace myself (the reservoir) but am interested in guidance on bleeding the system and whether it is important to use BMW anti-freeze only.

Bleeding ...

Fill tank.
Cap off.
Start car
Set Heater to 90
Add to tank until full
Cap on.
Wait 5 mins
Crack bleed screw on top hose to vent air.
Engine off
Wait 10 mins
Cap off and refill.
