OPie, your battery is approaching the life time-limit on an AGM battery. Under the best of conditions they will last about eight years. BMW owners seldom treat their batteries well and they ALL pay for that failure.

Buy the BMW recommended smart battery charger, and fully charge your battery regularly and frequently using the underhood access points. Read the BMW documents at G00gle Drive.

Be careful who one ignores. Curmudgeons typically have very high signal to noise ratios but the 'noise' is sharp.

Biimerfest. Immer is always in German.
