Just traded the 2008 550i for 2012 X5M. I cannot find ANY info online regarding a DIY oil change.

Can someone please shed some light on the oil capacity of this thing? I know what type to use just not how much exactly.

Go to Bavauto.com. Type in your vehicle, go to fluids on drop down list on left side. Look up oils available and it will you how many quarts/liters need for your M. I just did mine, around 8.5 quarts I believe.
