I pulled my radio out but did not disconnect wires. Now, my remote key won"t work. Any ideas?

Had to pull stereo out to work on heater temperature control switch.
I forgot to say that my remote key was a dealer installed option when we purchased the car.

I had to take the radio out of dash to work on heater control switch. Did not unplug any wires.

Aligned radio all up . Noted from an older suggestion to open both doors ,hood and hatch then close. It worked and reset itself .all is fine .Thanks
