From what I've read, the rear strut towers have been problematic in terms of corrosion and buckling.

Rust is a general problem with the 2002 series by this point.

 

Maybe rust... especially at the rear shock towers, I had a 1970.

 

Rust, body parts are being re made but costly. AC is an afterthought. doenst work well.

Cars are a blast to drive. Once you do the pertronix kit and get rid of the points they are dependable and can be a D>D.
