Getting this collection of fault codes on my 330d (N57):
49A5
4DFB
4E0F
4A6F
4A1F

Car has no lights on the dash, runs and drives fine, 50mpg on the motorway etc
My research says its something to do with the glow plug control module and one of those might be a code for the swirl flaps which worrys me as I dont want the engine/turbo to go bang.

I purchased the car from a dealership that gave me a 3 month engine/gearbox warranty so do you think it's worth contacting them to see what they can do? Thanks.

Forgot to mention, on the first start of the day the car seems a tiny bit lumpy at idle, but I'm used to a Ford 4cyl diesel so its hard for me to tell as that ran like it had nails in the cylinders

Use BMW Fault Code Lookup - BMWFaultCodes to learn the suggested Service Plans. Yes, if you have some sort of warranty then make use of it, as you paid for it.

You have indication of a failed preheat controller module, two output stages may have failed and the LIN bus communication link also. The swirl-flap controller is not responding properly. The batttery may have been disconnected improperly or disconnected for too long.

I should mention the warranty was free with the car but is limited to engine and gearbox
Its very possible then it’s because of the battery? The battery died the day after I got it. I (stupidly) didn’t scan the car before purchase or before the battery died as my scan tool hadnt arrived.
Could you recommend a course of action to try to further diagnose?
