Does it have an "analog" mode with round gauges and regular needles ?

Cost cutting is always presented as progress, and everybody and their brother nowadays put digital clusters selling this as the next best thing after sliced bread, but ergonomy is a faitful mistress that always comes back. I yearn for the time when the bigh Two german brands will snap out of their madness and bring ergonomy back in the fold, rather than slamming screens everywhere and use excuses as voice command or magic wavings over the screen.

Ranting all this because I'm old enough to remember the wave of exotic gauge clusters that flooded cars in the eighties. It was painful, and ugly. Remember the eighties Corvette, some Golf GTI 16v, the Audi GT Coupe, not to mention the French - they all went nuts.

- Round gauges with needles don't need to be looked at properly to give you info.
A simple glance at them with your peripheral vision gives you the info (you get the message that everything is correct when the needle is pointing up in the middle).
This comes from aviation. All the needles pointing straight up at 12 o'clock - good. Needles pointing to the right - caution.

- Round buttons can be touched and manipulated by feel, without having to take your eyes off the road. You reach - you touch - you manipulate. AC controls have to be rotary (temp and fan) to not need being looked at. Radio Volume buttons have to be knobs if you want to just reach and use them.

So - very personal opinion and don't take my word for it - this specific cluster looks ugly. But that's me.
On the practical level though - it's also less practical.
On the safety level - it requires you to not watch the road when you look for information on it, as your peripheral vision will only give you colorful blobs.

If it has a mode where it shows round gauges though - then we're talking.

admire ur suggestions, but the engineer to design this cluster is to make it more digital and looks like GXX platform, so admire ur sugegstion, and this cluster can not satisfy. :coffee:

UPDATED--NOW the new software has, clients from us can download here
has upgrading can add oil check
Link: dashboard.zip and 1 more file
from the link, u can get 2 files, dashboard.zip and dashboard02.zip
prepare a USB flash, format it via FAT32, then copy the dashboard.zip to the USB flash
turn on ur car cluster, plug the USB flash to our offered USB port, then auto-upgrade, screen will reboot, then after it restart, disconnect the USB flash
format the USB flash again via FAT32, then copy the dashboard02.zip to it, before copy it, delete 02 and make the name same as dashboard.zip, then do upgrading again with same steps, aftert this step, will show starting BMW+M [not W]

clients get from us can do this upgrading

Clients not from us better ask ur seller, cause if via upgrading get cluster dead, we can not offer the help.
