BMW F11/F10 Options demands - Realistic?
Hi.
(Iam Danish, my spelling mistakes and general language mistakes are free)
Iam looking for a F11 520D - Because I want one which uses little fuel.

Because of my economy, I will properly have to buy one of the first years.
I would like the following options:
  • Gear auto.
  • Leather memory seats.
  • Sunroof
  • Active cruise control (Think code is: S5DF)
  • Head up display (Think code is: S610)
  • Biggest sound package (Think codes are S688A post LCI / S677A pre LCI)
Would not mind if it also have collision assist / Frontal Collision Warning
Is this even realistic to find, or did they not really sell any cars with that small engine with those options?
I cant really find it in Denmark, Iam looking in Gearmany also. Autocout.24 and mobile.de
But dang its often what options demands you put in is not what is shows you. (People try to sell their car as havening Adaptive Cruise Control, when it really just have the non-adaptive version)

(Picture for attention)
In advance, thanks a lot!

If you are patient you will find a car with most of the options you want. There are definitely 520Ds loaded with options in Europe.

My only advise is to steer clear from the very early models. Get one from 2013 and onwards, so it has N47T engine (updated design with no timing chain problems) and NBT headunit instead of CIC. It doesn't have to be LCI (which would make it pricier), just a 2013 MY.

One source where you may find cars loaded with options is dpfleet.de: Gebrauchtwagen Deutsche Post AG but you need to wait for the right one and check it. Most of the cars there have high mileage, but you can find one well maintained and in good condition if you wait (I have an F11 520d from there with 270k km now and I'm very happy with it).

PS. As for the seats, look for comfort or at least sport seats.

Thanks for the very nice answer!
The Deutsche Post AG page is that like the German puplic post service used cars? do they really have a lot of loaded cars? I find it quite wild if they have that.
The Danish postage service really drives cheap cars..

Yeah in regards to seats. I fill try to find one with these:

I have actually found a nice one on Autoscout24.de but its a Xdrive, so if I understand correctly it will be like 18-19 km/l compared to 20 highway.
And maybe 16 compared to 17.5 km/l mixed with city.... compared to if it was not an Xdrive...
I dont care that much if its 2WD or 4WD,,, but I do care about the fuel.. and I think its 105 KG. heavier..
And the first random article on google says: "Hey, dont buy 4WD unless you really need it." - And I dont... hmm decisions decisions decisions.

Most of the 5-series they have, have a healthy load of options. I guess they use them for their "executives" and they get to choose the options. You have to wait, check and find a way to buy from them (they don't sell to private individuals).
