Post the last 7 digits of your VIN and I'll tell you the exact part number you'll need. Or you can do it yourself. Go here: www.realoem.com and enter the last 7 of your VIN in the VIN search box. Click search, and the website will display every orignal part number on your car by categories. The brake light switch will be under "Pedals", and under that "pedal support bracket". I believe you'll need the two-pin switch, part number 61318360420.

Yet another thread? You couldn't put this in your previous thread about this problem?

OK, then, here we go.... the LEFT tail light power wire is the GREEN with a VIOLET stripe. GR/VI.

The LEFT brake light power wire is BLUE with a RED stripe. BL/RT

See if you have power on that wire when the brake is depressed.

The color codes:

BL = Blue

BR = Brown

GE = Yellow

GN = Green

GR = Gray

OR = Orange

RS = Pink

RT = Red

SW = Black

VI = Violet

WS = White

TR = Transparent

I merged all your threads with the one you created early this morning. I gave you a link to the electronic troubleshooting manual for your car, I even identified the wiring color for the left tail light and brake light like you wanted. Blue with a red stripe. The right side brake light uses the SAME color wire. Connect your wire from the working left brake light wire to the right side brake light wire and you should be good to go.

Please do not create another thread about the same problem! I asked you not to do that, but you persisted. Post your questions HERE in this thread. You do NOT NEED TO MAKE A NEW THREAD every time you post another question. We aren't trying to be hard-nosed about this. The reason is simple: someone later on will come here looking for help with the same problem, and they'll search the forum (something you should learn to do...it really does work, and it really helps) and they're going to find 3 or 4 threads you started about the exact same problem, but the answers will be scattered across all the threads.

This is the last time I'm warning you. I won't move a new thread about this. I'll just delete it. I'm trying to help, but you are making it VERY difficult.

Here is the link for the electrical troubleshooting manual. It has the wiring diagrams and wire colors:

Right-click and download it.

What don't you understand? You want to run the right brake light off the left brake light, split the blue wire with a red stripe going to the tail light plug on the left light, Attach a wire to that and run it to the blue wire with a red stripe on the right tail light plug. Both brake lights will then work. It's not the 'right' way to fix it, but it will work.
