Be it factory FA or a modified FA, based on the Option Codes (SALAPA-Element, HO-Wort, and E-Wort) specified in that FA, when you select "CODE", E-Sys will Code every Function Data Line (FDL) of that ECU to predetermined settings necessary to support all the Option Codes. The predetermined settings are based on a variety of FA parameters such as the vehicle Type Code (e.g. Typschlüssel=FR73, which equates to 535i Limousine N55B30M0 225kW Rear-wheel driveon the left USA ), and the vehicle Build Date (e.g. Zeitkriterium=1211), and are defined in the PSdZData KIS Database files.

Okay, I get it. Basically, ESYS has a database that maps the FA's content to all ECU's FDL's datas. Is it correct to see "VO coding" as an "automated FDL coding" essentially (based on the VO)?

So... if someone wanted to figure out exactly how a particular change in the VO actually affects the vehicle's ECUs, one would have to first "VO CODE", then "read FA, read ECU, read coding data for each ECU's CAFD" and compare that to the original .ncd copy (which everyone should have)? I was hopping that's what the SVT Target / SVT Actual panels were for in "VCM Master" -- I guess not.

Hi, I don't get this, u did my friends BMW 7 F01 tire pressure and temp and its not functioning, pwr and torque also not functioning. I have tried 2 already and both of them are 2012 cars, what gives?????

Both issues are known issues and much discussed on this forum. TPMS and Sport Displays do not work in all cars, particularly those with older firmware, and additionally Sport Displays do not work with all motors, such as the case of N63B44 Motor in .50i cars, although it will work with newer N63B44TU motor.

MY 2013 is an E70.

In MY 2014 it became an F15.

For E70, you need a DCAN cable, EDIABAS, NCS Expert, and SP-Daten to code it.

I keep getting error that its not found.

Hi everyone, I have coded my friend's BMW x5 F15 2015. I coded DVD in drive, key fob trunk, interior also, coded folding mirrors, open/close window mirrors, coded Bluetooth media.........none of these worked, except for interior trunk open and close. I went back and checked my work and everything was to the cheat sheet specs and I'm puzzled. Any ideas?

Is there an option to code F10/11, year 2011, to be able to play videos (divx, etc…) via USB port (and various media)?

I try to code it ... but cant find the option in the HU_CIC:
API_USB_VIDEO => both
ENT_CODEC_XVID => aktiv
ENT_CODEC_VCD => aktiv

So is it possible or not?

Also I tired to make sport display (torque an power). They showed up, but it does not show anything .. no pointers moving

USB Video only works with newer NBT Head Unit.

Sport Displays do not work for all F10's.
