You can use BU in conjunction with E-Sys or as a Standalon Coding App. Either E-Sys version will work fine, there is no noticeable difference.

If just coding is needed, yes. If you need to Flash it, you need E-Sys.

@shawnsheridan , two more questions I have about ESYS. I downloaded the ESYS ver. E-Sys_Setup-3.39.1 and before installing it I read the docs(beginner guide) and watched the youtube by TM. Where do I ask for the token for f31? where to get PSdZdata for the 3.39.1? Apologies for all the rookie questions here. Thanks.

Newer E-Sys version do not use .est Token. Use latest psdzdata. PM sent.

E-Sys is for F/I/G Series. ISTA/P is for E-Series only. You need both?
