...the last I heard...BMW is still in business...so there's always your local BMW dealership's part department. And as mentioned above...once you have the BMW 11 digit part nbr...you can type "BMW xx xx x xxx xxx" (where x = the actual bmw part nbr you found in the database) into a google search box...the world is at your fingertips.

To The Chucker and QSilver7,

I did order the part from Amazon, Chucker, and QSilver7, thanks for the diagram and info above! I am an illustrator by profession (science and technology) and diagrams make me happy! I am trying to resurrect this car bit by bit; exploded views and info are a big help. The Dinan customizing makes it more complicated but the whole car is quite wonderful. I am also having trouble with a power drain that I think has to do with the GPS/computer-the car is in the shop now, so maybe I can get that solved...then there are the worn buttons on the steering wheel, etc.

Anyway, I am learning a lot on this forum. Thanks again!
