Hi,

So im trying to update my modules with WINKFP and when i write the ZB's number's im getting this error to most of my modules :
"Error on determining the ZB number" and "Assembly identification number not found in the files determined by xxkfconf.da2"

My ZB's in Inpa are from the year of the production of my car(2004).
I cant Update my modules either cuz I dont know the ECU family to select.
I have SP daten 60.0.

Should i look for some older SP daten?

My Dde ZB is 7794373

Thanks,
How did you find it?
My car is 730d E65.
Now what will be the best option,to program it with this code or to just select Update Zusb and select ECU family Dde 506 and let him do his job???
The problem is that for most of my modules WINKFP doesn't find the ZB no.

Maybe my Winkfp has problems.
In winkfp I see ZB numbers that in the Data folder at Dde 506 don't exist. Is this Right?

A pic with my UIF too. Only to 4 Ecu's Winkfp recognize the ZB.

I updated before with Bmw coding tool.
Should I update now manually like you said?

If I choose Comfort then Update Zusb is no option to select ZB no.

I found a way to find my ZB from UIF in the file 'DDE506.HIS'. This file contains all the ZB number from this Ecu family.

The DDE506.dat contains the new/recent ZB numbers.

The DDE506.HWH contains the history compatible hardware numbers for an Ecu family.

Now the thing is if i really want to see my old ZB number in Winkfp, can i just add it to the .DAT file and then Winkfp is able to see it???

Its because you havent loaded your data. The ECU you are looking at is CAS3. Press import on the top bar, choose import assembly line data. choose your data folder from your sp daten folder.

ECU family is EK9287

7587120,0000000,7586909,A,7587119DA,0FFFFFFFFFD,000,1 0
But as far as I could see there is no never soft for this ECU, checked with 60.1 daten files but didn't have much time to see, maybe part number changes....

Hi,
This is my first post. I managed to update some ECU on my 2008 520D E60 using winkfp. However, I am unable to find DME ZUSB 781253. As per INPA the SGBD is D71N47A0. Not sure if should I update from DDE71 family by selecting Update. I am bit scared of breaking the ECU as winkfp does not find my DME ZUSB 781253 and not sure if the new ZUSB 8506837 is the right one.

Does anyone have an idea how to find the ZUSB or update my DME?
