F10 Navi Display Problems

Hello,
I have an 2016 F10 which had a factory NBT navigation unit with large screen.
The factory navigation display started to have some issues in 2020, meaning that at first appeared a dead pixel on it which gradually started to get bigger(looked like a circle).
Stated what I mentioned above, I decided to upgrade my NBT to NBT Evo ID5/6 and also change my navi display. I did this 2 days ago and changed my factory display with another one from an older 7 series BMW.
As it seems to me, my broken display had better colors than the “new” one I got from the F01.
My factory display - manufactured in 2014;
The display taken from F01 - manufactured in 2011;
In fact, all the colors are faded - the whole display looks grey-ish and the rear camera image seems unnatural.
Is it possible to be some wiring issue or they only improved the displays by years passing by and I should get a newer one?

I don't believe wiring would attribute to faded colors. The screen could've faded over time. It is a 9 year old unit. Personally, if I were to go with NBT Evo, I would've jumped on getting the Evo display as well.

Thank you for the answer.
As far as I know NBT Evo was never as a factory option for F10, so it would be impossible to find a fitting EVO display for it.
If I knew an Evo display was an option, I would have done it.
If you give me a suggestion on how to do it, I will.
