Hi.
To activate SLI, you need to buy the FSC code AppID 126 (7E). You can find people who offer it here on the forum, or use google.
Then you have to insert the FSC code into KAFAS using the E-sys software. The next step will be the FDL coding of the SLI function in the control units.

Another option is to also purchase the FSC code AppID 191 (BF) - Pedestrian Detection and use the VO coding of the 5AS function. In addition to SLI, you also get Pedestrian Detection, High Beam Assistant HBA (requires SZL replacement) and Lane departure warning (requires steering wheel with vibration motor).

Would you be able to help with 5AS coding. I still can't code pedestrian detection and lane departure warning. Could you advise me which ECU needs to be coded and what to activate. I coded KOMBI KAFAS and HU_ENTRY. I have FSC. Both SLI and car warning are activated. FSC are also accepted. BMW 2 218d F45.

I recently had the steering wheel heater retrofitted in my F48 LCI (switch + trim).

Had to find despite 5AT, 5AR, 5DF that behind the steering wheel brace would be space for a motor, but there is none.

Would it be possible to retrofit this motor & Coding ? (possibly from the F30) ?

 

Hi there. I am new to the community. I got myself a 225xe f45 from 2019. I ve been trying the different tips to change the ambient led colors with BimmerCode without success. Still orange and white. I am under the impression the layers are not used but they are 2 rgb groups called classic and modern that seem to change to interact with the led. Any ideas? Thanks.

 

Im not sure but i think that you cant change these coulours. You only can have orange and white.

Is it possible to retrofit ACC stop & go to F45 if I have Kombi Basis and Manual transmission? Or I should change kombi to MID?

I just installed the M performance brakes on my F48, I'm trying to code them following the steps, but when I add the Ho-Wort it gives me errors all the time. I have tried with SPBR, SBRE and SPOB F56 chassis = F48) and they all tell me the same thing:

"No FP could be generated from FA"".[C002]
Not all elements of the FA were found in the FA2FP: HO-Word SPBR [72]"

Does anyone know how it can be solved?

I really added 2NH on Salapa but the brakes still feel smoogy, and read another posts, it's neccesary to coding SPOB (F48 is under F056 option on Esys) but I tried the another options (SPBR or SBRE) and anyone works..

 

Ive checked again and F48 doesnt have SPBR, SBRE and SPOB. If you try you will get same error.
Have you tried bleeding the brakes? Or you can try editing the cafd manually.

Recently purchased a 2015 BMW F45 220D Active Tourer M Sport . it already came with a good amount of options from factory but i've been looking to get more things activated etc....

One that really interests me is the SLI speed limit info . from what i've been reading I could possibly have this coded & activated via an FSC code rather than having to resort to an SLI emulator.

is there a way for someone to be able to check / advise if my car is capable & if so who could provide FSC code & remote code it for me?

My headunit is a HU_EntryNav & my instrument cluster is the 6WA Extended cluster (called Blackout or shadow edition?) . On my windscreen it appears I have the kafas camera as I can see the camera & underneath in white it says connected drive??

Any help greatly appreciated.

I've got a F46 (assembly date June 2018) that came with Front Collision Warning so have the Kafas2 camera. Is it possible to code in option 5AS or at least SLI? I can see my dashboard has the lane markings on it, just not lit up. So does this mean that I could code in LDW as well?

It is possible, but you need an FSC code (for SLI).
LDW will also be active, but you need a vibration motor in the steering wheel for notification.
You can also buy the FSC code here, look for people who offer it.

 

For all those looking for the FSC code for SLI (Speed limit detection). The part number that you need to Google is 66502444948. I actually purchased my code from here (just make sure you select the one that is for F-series cars) BMW FSC Nachrüstung Speed Limit Info 66502444948. Only cost around €45.
I don't know why everyone seems to want to keep this secret and only offer it via PM.

I've just checked with the SVT-Toolbox from EsysUltra. The F48 and F46 have some overlap, but the F48 (X1) seems to have some extras that don't appear in the F46.
Attached images show the difference when adding option 8TH to a cat that has 5AS (driver assist, which includes SLI)

 

8TD in itself is not needed but all the FDL values and FSC are
