fogged as in removed the baffles?

 

no fogged as in shawn fogg ..... google it or search previous posts..in simple terms basically de restricts ur airbox by adding larger intakes but keeping the standard look..more cool dense air equals bigger smile!!

I found a big differance just by removing the interal trumpet of the air box (M52) and running a cool air pipe from the brake duct.

 

just get a CAI if you want cold air!!!

just my 2 cents but this "fogging" is worthless. Helpful if you want the car to appear factory, but I'm with Pete, get a CAI if you want cold air!

 

The main problem is the intake pipe itself is still the same size and so has a finite amount of air it can drag in

HOWEVER, thanks for the post Oakley. Is interesting that you are seeing gains with your mod!!

Well as test show ( on a ti anyways) cai just does't do enough to justify the cons..either way im happy! Woulda liked more noise but the added grunt and the xtra power is great.............................................for now!! Pirate any ideas on where i can get a big bore throttle body round our way? Feels like im hittin my head against a wall at present!!

What engine you got?

 

Dinan has a bbtb also. They claim that with a free flow exhaust, cai, and software it makes a whopping 8 hp. bigger gains can be made elsewhere for less $.

 

That wont be on a 4 cylinder though Jason
