Offsets will vary but most wheels that fit will be in the 35-45mm range. Either 205/50R17 or 225/45R17 will work well, with the more narrow 205 having slightly better loose snow traction and the 225 width a bit better dry road handling and cornering.

Received the winter wheels & tires today. They look awesome:thumbup: . Can't wait to drive them on the car...except I'll have to wait a few days to see how they handle the snow/slush. Typical winter weather here...25 and snow on Friday, 60 and sun the next Monday!:dunno:

For anyone else reading this, I went with the Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D 225/45/17 on ASA JH3 17x7.5 wheels.

Hey TS- so what offset did you end up with for the wheels? I also have a 330i ZHP and found a good used setup in town but want to make sure the fit will work. The tires are the same size as yours but the offsets are 20mm Front and 40mm Rear (off an M3).

I think they are 40mm offset front and rear as shown in below link to wheels at Tire Rack.

The 20mm front/40mm rear you mention may be due to the staggered setup.
