Gary -

I have an '05 E46 330i ZHP with summer tires. In looking at your recommended winter tire sizes, primary is 205/50/17 with alternate of 225/45/17. In Louisville, KY our winters are usually cold (~25-40F) with periodic light snow and/or slush, occasionally a few inches of snow for a few days. My driving is mix of city/hwy.

Which size do you recommend for the Dunlop Winter Sport D3s? What are advantages/disadvantages of the wider tire for winter? Also, what is the correct offset wheel? I can't find the offset marked on my factory wheels.

Thanks. Tom

Gary -

Received the winter wheels & tires today. They look awesome:thumbup: . Can't wait to drive them on the car...except I'll have to wait a few days to see how they handle the snow/slush. Typical winter weather here...25 and snow on Friday, 60 and sun the next Monday!:dunno:

For anyone else reading this, I went with the Dunlop SP Winter Sport 3D 225/45/17 on ASA JH3 17x7.5 wheels.

Thanks again for the help!

Hey TS- so what offset did you end up with for the wheels? I also have a 330i ZHP and found a good used setup in town but want to make sure the fit will work. The tires are the same size as yours but the offsets are 20mm Front and 40mm Rear (off an M3).

Thanks a lot.
