I lost the Key Fob to my 2009 X5 and need to get into the glove box to retrieve the temporary key while I either find or replace the missing fob.
As you may know, without the fob, security locks up everything including the glove box. I went online and found one video that shows how to manually open a glove box but it is slightly different than mine. I have attached a picture of the differences. In the picture, mine is the glove box on the top- Does anybody know how to open it manually or some sort of work around? I can't be the only one that left his temporary key in the glove box.
Thanks, R
