How to setup INPA and ISTA+ to run simultaneously

Hi guys!
I'm new to the forum and already learned a lot, I am at this moment setting up my PC to have the major BMW Diagnostic Softwares.

I installed:
  • BMW Scanner
  • Mikes Easy BMW Tools

- I'm currently trying to install ISTA+ and I have two questions:

1. Installing ISTA via the Installer never works for me, zero files get installed on the EC-APPS> INPA folder. Do you know why? What am I missing?

2. And second, and correct me if I'm wrong, from what I've seen online, there is a difference between EDIABAS 7.3.0 and Patched EDIABAS 7.3.0. So my issue is that, when installing Mike's Easy Bmw tools, it installs the EDIABAS 7.3.0, right?
But to run ISTA+ I need the Patched EDIABAS? (since I'm using ENET cable and not ICOM)
- How do I solve this and make both work at the same time for each of its respective softwares??

Thanks in advance!

ISTA+ has nothing to do with INPA, so installing ISTA+ is not going to get you INPA.

And ISTA+ installs it's own EDIABAS in the ISTA Folder. It does not need a patched EDIABAS.

No, I installed INPA first and everything went smooth. And INPA installed Ediabas 7.3.0 on C:\EDIABAS.

After that, I downloaded ISTA and I can't for some reason installer with the installer. I only had sucess via a manual install like show here:

The first step of the process is to install Patched EDIABAS, but when i go to do it, it wants to install in the destination folder C:\EDIABAS, which will overlap the EDIABAS files that came with INPA.

This is my struggle.

What ideas do you guys have?
Maybe do the install of ISTA another way? The install guide on this forum seems outdated since the files don't match, is there an update?

Thanks for the help

ISTA+ requires ONLY running the ista_standalone_installer_4.39.20.exe as explained.
