HwDeinstall TRSVC in TAL list

I made a TAL list for flashing my modules. Found this at the very top of the TAL list, see attachment.

I have recently installed a very modern TRSVC module (2016) into my F11 (2013) and it does not work.

Does this mean that the current HWEL version is compatbile with my car and that it tries to fix this??

Could this be the issue that my image from the camera is not showing up in my NBT HU?

Thanks

I would start with...
  • Checking wiring
  • Checking coding. Did you VO code options or FDL?
  • Make sure dependent ECU's are on same I-Step.
  • Scanning vehicle is ISTA+
Beyond those basic, I know not as I have never retrofitted any ECU's.

I have a 2007, 328i. My warning light for the abs along with my break lights came and would go off three times a week. Now the lights are on steadily.
I took my car in for service at BMW dealership and they qouted me a price of $4300.00 to replace the DSC hydraulic pump.
I've been looking on line but can't find a cheaper place to order the part. And the pump s I found on eBay, doesn't match my car.
Can anyone help?

Well, if you followed the E-Sys Install and Setup Guide, you would have Unchecked the E-Sys Options for "Updated VCM" (and "Update MSM"), and then you would not have this I-Step Popup now.

After replacing it with a different TRSVC module I still get the HWDeInstall and install in the TAL list.

It complains about the id being wrong. Namely 85E vs 21F. What does this id do? The real hw is the same though.

Could this id be different between platforms?

Only when I change the shipment i-level to f10-13-11-502 and then calculate a new TAL it lists this module as black and no update needed.

I know not about compatibility and individual hardware ID's.

But, I do not know any other way to say this: you do not want to different actual & target HWEL.

From E-Sys - Guide to action - Programming with SG-D system.pdf:

_HWEL: Mapping of hardware ID (PECUHN) and hardware reference (ZZZPPP) on SGBM ID and hardware version of the electronics (HWEL). If no hardware number of the controller are read, the mapping is only based on the reference hardware.
In the first ECU, you already had latest software (swfl_00000468_013_009_005).

In the other TRSVC, you do not have latest.

If you want to force update, edit TAL. If you do not, in TAL-Processing, I am not sure what would happen if you just checked swDeploy (leaving hwDeinstall/hwinstall unchecked).

Thanks again for explaining.

How can I select the right TRSVC for my car? I have a 06- 2013 F11.

Can't find the right TRSVC module on etk that is suitable for my car matching the production dates.

How can I select my PN right for my car for other ECU? Including matching the dates..
