I follwed the advise and replaced my LCM. I found one on ebay with the same part number LCMIII. I coded the new LCM with PASoft, entered last 7 of VIN, and milage in KM. The tamper dot is gone, lights, and signals function. However I have no high leval MFD. No light warnings, seat belt warnings etc. What am I doing wrong?

Thanks
Josh

...the multifunction display. If it came from a vehical with low display can I enable high display?
No...how can you call up the BC functions when there's no BC button on a low MID? If you have the low cluster...then your IKE doesn't have the expanded OBC...so even if you installed a high MID...there's no info coming from a low cluster to send to a high MID. If you have DSP and install a MID that doesn't have the DSP button...can you get it to make DSP work? NO...again, because there is no button that will call those functions up.

You need a MID that matches how your car is optioned. A high cluster needs a HIGH MID and a low cluster needs a LOW MID. If you have the DSP option...then you also need a MID w/DSP:

Ditto the above comment.

With no model, model year, build date info from the OP....the lcm is also programmed to the car's specific ZKE/ZCS coding based on the different high or low check control systems used and different light options etc.

See the very last paragraph at the bottom of page below...this info also applies to BMWs with the redesigned LCM III (9/98-up build dates):

Ditto the post above. There's not a high/low LCM...but it does need to be coded to your car based on the options it has. And this was also mentioned in post #5 above. If you look at the details of the illustration...it shows the HIGH cluster and the LOW cluster systems...then says that the LCM needs to be coded accordingly:
