I recently fitted a new battery to my E39 540I auto 1997. Unfortunatly as I was putting the battery in it slipped and the live terminal touched the negative of the car and there were a few sparks! When I restarted the car the heater did not work. Fuse had blown. Replaced and now works fine. The worrying bit is that my radio does not work (it worked fine before). The radio does not ask for a code either and all the fuses are okay. Help!!! :dunno:
