Re-Initialize Steering Tilt BMW F10 535

I have a 2011 535xi that the steering tilt and telescoping functions stopped working. There is no clicking or any noise whatsoever when it is told to move.

Solution in above post was to clear the fault code and Re-Initialize the steering tilt/control. This post said they took it to someone that connected a computer and it was fixed by Re-Initialization. (I am not sure if this was INPA or ECS Tuning or ???

does anyone know the procedure to do this steering Re-Initialization? (I have seen some posts about correcting the steering angle but that (I believe) is making the steering wheel straight when the car is going straight.

I haven't done it, but I'd be willing to bet that's an ista function, rather than inpa or ecs. That's what I used to reinitialize my seats.
When you connect to ista, it will probably prompt you to calibrate it anyway.

Hello.
Were you able to resolve th steering tilt issue? I have a 2011 F10, checked all the fuses (glove and trunk) all were fine. I was even thinking of double checking the fuses again in the glove area just for piece of mind.
