Mine doesn't work, maybe yours doesn't either if pushing it doesn't reset the trip meter.

 

Hold the left dash button down till it resets. There is a change that the button does not work well (possibly at all). My trip reset button works but my OBC clear one is a bit iffy.

 

If you are talking about the onboard computer, press the selected button you want and the S/R (reset) at the same time and it should reset to zero

Didnt even think about the OBC.
You do not need to press them at the same time. Just press S/R when you are on the item you want to clear.

 

I mean the trip meter on dash console, right below the odometer. I try to hold the button, but i still won't reset

 

My right clear button on the dash does not work very well. I have to push it quite hard to get it to work. If that does not work for you there really is not much you can do other than taking the dash cluster apart and spraying it with contact cleaner (or trying to replace the switch.... Not sure where you would find one).
