Maybe you can just make a screenshot where I can find the option? Usually I'm not too dumb for such stuff Did you ever had the problem that the option was "just not there" ?

 

So since I found like >10 posts describing the same error but not one with a resolution, I'll post the resolution here:

The X5 F15 with active steering doesn't have a classic SAS or Steering Angle Sensor - it has a Torque Sensor which does the same function. The Torque Sensor needs to be reset using the Electronic Power Steering "Start-up" function which was the top entry in "Chassis" for me, the same category where also steering angle sensor is displayed.

After the reinit every error message went away and it's all back to normal now.

 

Hi ,I'm facing same problem (no angle sensor reading) but it will be very helpful if you can post some screens from ista D ,particulary under EPS Ecu test two values, pinion angle when is in position "zero" steering wheel straight and at the same time what is your motor position angle sensor

here is my screen when pinion angle reads at zero and motor position angle is at 174 degrees i just want to make sure if this is correct as i'm struggling with EPS start up

Hi. Thanks for sharing this info, I was dealing with the same yesterday. Long story short, I've recalibrate same sensor that you have mentioned above and most of the error massage are gone, except two that was caused by disconnecting both batteries.
I did the calibration one time only, but I've seen on forums ppl say that they do it twice.
