So I keep getting a message that tire pressure is low though when I go to the car/tire pressure screen it shows propoer pressure and physical checks show same.
A BMW dealer genius told me how to reset the TPM's once but i've forgotten since. anyone know the magic trick?

TIA

Forgot to mention I was looking for a way that involved the iDrive. Seems like I was told to hold the radio button in for 5 seconds or some such maneuver. I did find the reset button in the tire settings and will give it a try later but I think the last time this happened i did something else.

Holding the volume button down for 30-seconds will reboot the iDrive computer...it has little to do with the TPMS reset.

Prior to resetting your TPMS, make sure you've corrected the tire pressures. When you reset the TPMS, you're telling the computer that the current value is your 'normal' value, and identify what tire is where, and it will look for changes from that.

There’s an owners manual built directly into iDrive. If you can pull up the TPMs screen…then all you need to do is press the OPTION button next to the iDrive controller knob. If you scroll down the list…you should see something that says something about the owners manual. When you are in a specific area (like the TPMS screen) and access the owners manual…it takes you DIRECTLY to that specific area of the owners manual.

There are also multiple ways to search the iDrive owners manual…keyword, picture, quick reference…and there are even embedded videos (they are very interesting). …all at your fingertips. :)
