Z3 vs ZHP steering rack

I have searched many times on this subject on the net but don't find much. There are many threads that discuss the Z3 rack and others that discuss the 712, 9/01+330, ZHP rack. But I can't find comparison between the two in the 3 series. If there are people who or know people that have driven the same type of 3 series with both racks and that could give a comparison as to the difference in steering that they both give. This would be great. I have an e46 325 and want to upgrade but am unsure which one I should get. I am leaving out the Z4M coupe rack as it is too hard to find even though it is a quick rack. I am interested in hearing from people that can give comparisons between the 2 racks, even if it is in E30's or E36's.

Is this for an e46? You'll get better help if I move this over to the right E code forum for you.

Yes I have an e46. But I figured there aren't many people that have experiences with both racks in the same platform. You can move this if you think it will help but I am happy to hear from any 3 series person. I posted here since there is no general 3 series forum.
